Essay

The approach to increase the efficiency of the traditional GE air cooling system in AСh by deep utilization in ECh of the heat remaining after its ACh transformation in the single chain "utilization of return heat after ACh in ECh - GE air cooling" is substantiated. Methods of rational organization of GE air cooling processes with combined use of wet cooling tower cooling capacity and cooling capacity obtained by transformation of return coolant heat into ECh have been developed, providing stably low air temperature and, as a result, reduction of fuel consumption by 2…3%. A mathematical model has been developed to calculate the characteristics of the heat transformation system of the heat removed from gas engines and to determine the additional cooling capacity of the ECh obtained by utilizing the heat of the return heat carrier after ACh in the ECh.
