Essay

The work is devoted to the development of technical means for primary lowtemperature processing and storage of small-seeded grains. Improved mathematical model of cooling processes in conditions of lowtemperature processing and storage of grain products. It is proved that the main thermal resistance of the cooling process of small-seeded grains falls on thermal conductivity. Taking into account the results of a comparative environmental and energy analysis, ammonia vapor compression and absorption ammonia water refrigerating machines (AWRM) are recommended for operation as stationary refrigeration units for primary grain cooling systems. Systems of primary low-temperature processing and storage of small-seeded grain on the basis of a combined compression-absorption ammonia-water refrigeration machine have been developed. An absorber AWRM with two-phase thermosyphons and with air removal of heat into the environment has been developed. Two designs of the grain air cooling system are proposed - container and floor type.
