In Ukraine, there is no national idea of ensuring economic competition of products in compliance with all requirements for the recognition of industrial property rights. The state and domestic business care little about the quality and safety of goods, and about ensuring the above-mentioned rights to industrial property. Therefore, the Ukrainian market is oversaturated with counterfeit and pirated products. The purpose of the dissertation research is to study and formulate a new essence of legal responsibility of business entities in the field of industrial property and to establish ways to improve it, The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the substantiation of theoretical and methodological principles, theoretical and practical conclusions regarding the improvement of the legal regulation of the responsibility of economic entities in the field of industrial property. Determined on the basis of the analysis of economic, economic procedural legislation on the liability of economic entities in the field of industrial property, by applying a systematic methodology, concept, composition and structure of the mechanism of legal liability of economic entities in the field of industrial property in a broad sense. According to this definition, the mechanism of legal liability of economic entities in the field of industrial property in a broad sense is a holistic system of components for the provision of legal responsibility, aimed at ensuring the protection, functioning and development of industrial property. The following composition and structure of the mechanism of legal responsibility of business entities in the field of industrial property in a broad sense are proposed. This is a regulatory model (a set of regulations governing the protection, operation and development of industrial property), as well as organizational means to ensure the protection, operation and development of industrial property. The latter (organizational means of ensuring the functioning of the protection of industrial property) include: state and judicial authorities; It is proposed to distinguish between the actual and desired model of legal responsibility of economic entities in the field of industrial property in a broad sense, as well as program-targeted, problem-oriented approach to identifying criteria and objectives for improving legal responsibility, development of targeted comprehensive program.
