Lavrinenko O. The formation and development of theoretical electrical engineering as a science and academic discipline in Ukraine in the 30s of XX century - beginning of XXI century.

In this dissertation work, based on historiographical analysis, the introduction of significant source base and methodological bases the formation research and development of theoretical electrical engineering as a science and educational discipline in Ukraine was conducted. The work consists of an introduction, four chapters, conclusions to each section, general conclusions, and a list of used sources, literature and annexes. The scientific positions and conclusions of the thesis research are based on the study of the heritage of predecessors and the involvement of a representative source base. The source base of the work consists of a large array of different sources. The leading place in the dissertation work is occupied by archival materials, which were found in the funds of central, state archives, archives of research institutions of Ukraine. There were 134 files of 9 archival institutions of Ukraine involved in the scientific turnover, materials of 23 files of the scientific and technical archive of the Institute of Electrodynamics of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine involved for the first time.
