Object of research: state policy in the field of digitalization. The objective is to scientifically and theoretically substantiate and to develop practical recommendations for improving the mechanisms of state policy in the sphere of digitalization of legal regulation in Ukraine. Methods: historical; logical analysis; comparison; description; induction; analogy and synthesis. Results: the topical definite scientific task concerning the scientific and theoretical substantiation and development of practical recommendations of improvement of mechanisms of the state policy in the sphere of digitalization of legal regulation in Ukraine has been solved. Novelty: conceptual provisions in the field of public administration have been formulated and theoretically substantiated, the theoretical basis of which is the proposed integration model of state policy development in the conditions of digitalization of legal regulation in Ukraine; improved: the definition of the functioning of institutional mechanisms of state policy in the sphere of digitalization of legal regulation in Ukraine, which is characterized as unsatisfactory, it has been proposed to increase its effectiveness by applying a systematic approach that clarifies the factors influencing this policy and structure of a comprehensive mechanism, substantiation of priority directions of development of mechanisms of state policy in the sphere of digitalization of legal regulation in Ukraine taking into account positive foreign experience in this sphere and definition of offers on improvement of the Concept of development of artificial intelligence in Ukraine in which boarders it has been proposed to harmonize legal relations between Ukraine and the EU in order to implement its integration aspirations, as well as the ways of eliminating differences in national legal regimes in the field of digitalization of Ukraine and OECD member countries, in particular, during the implementation of regulatory policy, public-private partnership, etc.; further developed: the essential characteristics of the concepts of “digitalization of public policy” and “public policy of digitalization” from the standpoint of defining conditional political-digital “discourses”, defining the structure of public policy in the field of digitalization of legal regulation while accentuation the key role of legal institutions and improving the activities of the subjects of such influence, aimed at ensuring socio-economic development in the growing digitalization of the economy, society and public administration at all levels, generalization of forms of state policy in the field of digitization of legal regulation abroad – law-making, law enforcement, human rights protection and legal education, which are characterized by effective regulatory policies, the creation of a single digital platform and a single digital space, the establishment of institutional cooperation, the introduction of ethical principles and public-private partnership, etc. Implemented in the activities of: Sumy Regional State Administration, National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine.
