A stochastic mathematical model of the activity of the ‘pilot-aircraft’ ergatic system at the landing phase as a queuing system has been developed. This model combines model representations of human operator states and the technical part of the system into a single model. The results of the developed software showed that the parameters obtained from the model correspond to the flight parameters obtained from the flight data recorder system during the landing phase. The results of the mathematical model improving ‘Generalized operating characteristic of human operator’ allow investigating the system characteristics of operator activities in the ‘pilot-aircraft’ system at the landing stage and, according to the conclusions obtained, make adjustments to the methods of pilots training for practising emergencies.
