Essay

The thesis is devoted to clinical-experimental substantiation and solution of the scientific problem of the study of pathophysiological features of formation and course of post-traumatic epilepsy (PTE), optimization of diagnosis and development of pathogenetically motivated therapy in clinic and experiment. The proposed model of PTE is adequate for the reproduction of both immediate and chronic seizures with minimal animal mortality and reduces the time of formation of chronic seizures in all animals, cost-effective. After the reproduction of the PTE model, acute immediate convulsions, behavioral disorders, locomotor disorders, postures, reduction or absence of pain reactions, development of depressive symptoms and cognitive deficits were observed. The developed treatment of PTE in model conditions with early use of ethylmethylhydroxyperidine succinate and peptide complexes is proposed, which prevents the formation of PTE, the development of comorbid conditions, behavior, cognitive deficits, vasospasm and the occurrence of lethal outcome in rats with presumed inhibition.
