The dissertation deepens the conceptualization of the theoretical basis, methodological provisions and scientific and practical recommendations for ensuring the management system in the agro-industrial complex in the context of global challenges, which will enable adaptability and increase its efficiency in the national macroeconomic environment. The research is aimed at solving current scientific problems in the field of management system management in the agro-industrial complex in the context of global challenges within the evolutionary paradigm of economic system development. The conceptual basis and approaches to monitoring in the agro-industrial complex management system and its functional model are proposed, which is designed to study the economic system and control the implementation of actual and planned indicators of agro-industrial complex, which will adjust its development priorities taking into account current trends and global challenges. Theoretical and methodological principles of strategic controlling in providing a management system in the agro-industrial complex, which provide for the use of a synthesized approach to the interaction of elements of strategic controlling and system links, to assess the state of segment components of the agro-industrial complex in the implementation of strategic goals and effective management decisions. which will identify and prevent the impact of negative processes, phenomena and associated risks in order to quickly implement targeted measures for the functioning of the agro-industrial complex. Scientific and methodological support of the scenario approach to the formation and implementation of the strategy of agro-industrial complex development is developed, which is based on multivariate scenarios of functioning and development of the agro-industrial complex, which allows to develop and verify program-target orientation.A conceptual model of the mechanism of management of the integrated infrastructure of the agro-industrial complex is developed, which provides for the formation of a complex of adaptive interaction of coordinated components of organizational, structural-functional and methodological nature, which are aimed at systematically resolving contradictions , in order to improve qualitative and quantitative indicators and competitive advantages in the agro-industrial complex, which will contribute to the sustainable development of the national economy in the face of global challenges. Theoretical and methodological principles of the management system in the agro-industrial complex are proposed, which are supplemented by components of interconnected management elements and focus on the method of adaptive structuring of internal economic processes in the agro-industrial complex, which will improve qualitative and quantitative indicators and competitive advantages of the agro-industrial complex. The basis for the formation of investment and innovation integration strategy for the development of agro-industrial complex in the context of global challenges, which takes into account the invariance, iteration, adaptability and authenticity of investment and innovation, defining immanent features that characterize the investment and innovation potential and the choice of effective ways to implement them under the influence of internal and external factors that affect the strategic development of the agro-industrial complex.
