Migration processes based on international migration are considered, as they are related to global migration in the world, determining not only the classical objective factors of migration. It is proved that most migrations are caused by complex factors, where one of them can be a key or "incident" factor. Emphasis is placed on migration movements related to existential search - the search for meaning in life, worldviews on a subcultural or countercultural level, voluntary isolation from public life in the natural environment. It has been proved that the problem of illegal migration should be considered in the context of such a global phenomenon as international migration, and research on this problem should be carried out in three directions: international, European and national, but taking into account those political, economic, social and integration processes. relations at the present stage of development of the world community. To ensure the effectiveness of preventing and combating illegal migration, complex mechanisms of anti-corruption activities in the migration sphere were substantiated, taking into account the experience of foreign countries. The developed model of formation and implementation of mechanisms of anti-corruption activity in the field of prevention and counteraction to illegal migration provides the following components: 1) Prerequisites for formation and implementation of mechanisms of anti-corruption activity; 2) Initial provisions for the formation and implementation of mechanisms for anti-corruption activities; 3) Mechanisms of anti-corruption activities; 4) Anti-corruption measures; 5. Monitoring of corruption risks and evaluation of the effectiveness of anti-corruption activities. Applying this approach to anti-corruption activities in the migration sphere is an effective tool for combating illegal migration, as well as ensuring a high level of national security.
