Vatsiuk V. Investigation of illicit trafficking in poisonous or potent drugs

The dissertation deals with the provisions aimed at solving an important scientific and practical task, which is to form a separate method of investigating the illicit trafficking in poisonous or potent drugs, and the findings determine the prospects for scientific support against crime and training for the National Police of Ukraine. The content and connections of the elements of the forensic characterization of illicit trafficking in poisonous or potent drugs are revealed, taking into account the peculiarities of their investigation. The peculiarities of the beginning of the pre-trial investigation and the circumstances to be established in criminal proceedings are clarified, as well as the typical investigative situations, tactical tasks and the procedure for their solution are singled out. Possibilities of interaction of the investigator with employees of operative divisions are defined. The peculiarities of tactical and forensic support of investigative (search) actions during the investigation are revealed and the forms of use of special knowledge under such conditions are analyzed.
