Mandzii S. Theoretical and legal bases of the status of internally displaced persons in Ukraine.

The dissertation is devoted to the complex analysis of theoretical and legal bases of ensuring the status of internally displaced persons in Ukraine. The historical preconditions of the legal development of internal forced migration in Ukraine have been studied and on this basis a number of modern socio-economic, political, demographic and environmental problems have been identified, which result in mass forced migration. The author's definition of the definition of "internally displaced person" is proposed and the correlation of this concept with related legal categories is made. The organizational and legal bases of ensuring the legal status of internally displaced persons in Ukraine in terms of legal and institutional support, as well as problematic issues of legal regulation of the legal status of internally displaced persons are analyzed and on this basis the best ways to solve them are proposed. Scientific review of international legal standards for ensuring the rights of internally displaced persons, which are enshrined in acts of international law. The experience of foreign countries on the legal regulation of the status of internally displaced persons is studied.
