Kushnirenko R. Criminological characteristics and prevention of intentional encroachments on human life.

In the scientific work, an improved system of prevention of intentional encroachments on human life in Ukraine was developed and, on this basis, the corresponding provisions of the legislation and the practice of their application were improved. In particular, the state, structure, and dynamics of intentional murders and attempted murders are characterized; the causes and conditions of intentional attacks on human life are established; a criminological characterization of a person who commits intentional encroachments on a person's life is carried out; the identity of the victim of intentional attacks on a person's life is described; measures of general social and special criminological prevention of intentional encroachment on human life have been developed; formulated directions for improving the current legislation and the practice of its application in terms of preventing intentional encroachments on human life in Ukraine.
