BONDAR V. Development of Entrepreneurial Competence of the Head of General Secondary Education Institution in the Conditions of Continuous Education

The thesis presents the results of a theoretical and experimental study of the development of the entrepreneurial competence of the head of the GSEI in the conditions of continuous education. The state of the problem in domestic pedagogical theory, practice and foreign experience has been studied. The content and structure of the entrepreneurial competence of the head of the GSEI, criteria and levels of its formation have been characterized. The effectiveness of the pedagogical conditions of the development of the entrepreneurial competence has been theoretically substantiated and experimentally verified. Educational and methodological support for the development of entrepreneurial competence of the head of the GSEI in the conditions of continuous education has been prepared and introduced into the educational process of institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education. The entrepreneurial competence of the head of the GSEI is interpreted as a complex social, psychological and pedagogical phenomenon, specified by a dynamic complex of value-ideological educational orientations, formed business skills, knowledge, abilities, methods of activity, experience, professionally significant qualities, which holistically mark a person’s readiness for entrepreneurial activity within the framework of the implementation of professional and functional tasks. The concept of "development of entrepreneurial competence of the head of the GSEI in the conditions of continuing education" is interpreted as a holistic and constant process of increasing the level of knowledge, skills and abilities, which allows the head, adapting to dynamic changes in the internal and external environment, to effectively manage the GSEI and is aimed at increasing the ability to implement entrepreneurial approaches in management, attract additional resources, optimize costs, and make decisions on the rational use of funds. From the standpoint of structural-component analysis, the components of the entrepreneurial competence of the head of the GSEI are expressed: goal-motivational, cognitive, creative-activity. To assess the development of the entrepreneurial competence of the head of the GSEI, the following criteria are differentiated: motivational-value, operational-content, personal-reflective, which correlate with the identified components (goal-motivational, cognitive-gnostic, creative-activity). In accordance with the developed criteria and indicators, taking into account the scientific positions of scientists, research methods were selected, and three levels of development of the entrepreneurial competence of the head of the GSEI in conditions of continuing education were stated: professional, productive, reproductive. The pedagogical conditions for the development of the entrepreneurial competence of the head of the GSEI in the process of continuous education are substantiated (the stimulation of the motivational orientation of the GSEI head towards entrepreneurial activity in the conditions of continuous education; the penetration of the content of the entrepreneurship education of the GSEI head in the inter-course period of professional development; the activation of the reflexive position of the GSEI head regarding the development entrepreneurial competence in the conditions of continuous education) and verified. A model of the development of the entrepreneurial competence of the head of the GSEI in the conditions of continuous education has been developed. It structurally combines four modules that are interconnected and interact: target, methodological, technological, diagnostic-resultative. The obtained results confirmed the expediency and effectiveness of the proposed pedagogical conditions and the model for the development of the entrepreneurial competence of the head of the GSEI in the conditions of continuous education, and also confirmed that the outlined tasks were completed and the set goal was achieved.
