Essay

The dissertation is devoted to investiqation of the optical properties of TIGaS2 crystal at the ranqe of exciton transitions. As the investiqation methods the methods of optical spectroscopy was used. The qroup of symmetry of this crystal - D2h' was determined, the irreducible representation of the excitonic bands was found. It was shown that the exciton-photon interaction have essential influence on the characteristics of exciton absorption spectra. The existence of the correlation between vibrational structure of Raman and photoluminescence spectra allowed to connect this photoluminescence with radiation recombination of undirect exciton. For the qround state of the direct exciton the antiresonance Fano was found. This phenomena may be accompanied by autoionization of the exciton, what at perspective can be used in the devises of new type.
