Essay

The object of research is the genre of "Life of Arseniev" of Bunin. The purpose of research is investigation of classical traditions of autobiographical genre. The methods of research are comparative and typological analyses. The indications and boundaries of autobiographical genre are determined in the work - both on the material of XIX century (Tolstoy-Aksakov-Bunin) and on the material of the XX century (Bunin-Shmelev-Zaytzev). The results of research can be used in courses of foreign russian literature and in pedagogical activity. The sphere of use is history of Russian literature.
