The thesis is devoted to the influence of R. Kipling's creation on Russian literary process. The data on the works of Russian and Ukrainian specialists in literature are collected and systemized. The translations of Kipling's poems are analyzed. The paper also focuses on finding the motifs of Kipling's creative world in the works of N. Gumilyov, B Pasternak, N.Ostrovski, russian romantic poets of the twenties-thirties.
