Mari B. The role of sex female hormones in the mechanisms of epileptisation under condition of pharmacological kindling

Об'єкт дослідження: Vistar Rats, brain. Мета дослідження: То investigate pathogenetical role played by hormonal substances: dymethylstilbestrol and progesteron in the process of pharmacological kindling formation, which was induced by picrotoxin administrations to female rats. Методи дослідження та апаратура: Behavioral, neurophysiological, neuro-pharmacological, hystological, statistical. Devices which were used: stereotaxis, electro-encephalograph, "open field", microinjector, personal computer Теоретичні результати та новизна: The dynamics of the susceptibility of rats to hormonal compounds influences in different stages of kindling was investigated. The proepileptogenic effects of dymethylstilbestrol and antiepileptic of progesteron in the postponed period of kindling were determined, the role played by different brain structures in hormonal compounds effects was also established. Практичні результати та їх новизна: The increased antiepileptic activity of delta sleep- inducing peptide and diazepam upon the seizures induced by dymethylstilbestrol in the postponed period of kindling was established. Ступінь впровадження: Reports at congresses, meetings and conferences, usage in the process of Physiology teaching. Ефективність впровадження: The increasing of the level of knowleges in the field of pathogenesis of hormonal- dependent forms of epilepsies.
