Essay

Building vocabulary of East Polyssya dialect of Ukrainian. To define meaning, tendencies of areal differentiation of building vocabulary, relation of the area under investigation to other East Slavonic dialects. Methods - descriptive and linguogeographical. The new version of dialect division is proposed and its connections with the vocabulary of other dialects are determined. The empiric basis of Ukrainian dialectal linguogeography, lexicology, lexicography is extended. The sphere of application is areology, linguodidactics of the Higher School.
