The presented Thesis is devoted to the problems of optimization of treatment for recurrent ischemias of the brain which are stipulated by occlusive and stenosed demages of carotid region vessels.Implementing the complex of modern clinical and instrumrntal investigetion on recurrent brain ischemias of occlusive-stenosed genesis the data concerning the pecularitiesof clinical course of accute cerebrovascular insufficiency caused by occlusive and stenosed processes of intra carotid have been systematized and clinical criteria to diagnose and define more precisely the occlusive and stenosed processes of intra carotid have been devised as well as the methods of individual approach to the choice of drug and surgical treatment.The comperativ analysis of results0f drug and surgical treatment of the patients with ischemic impairment of cerebral circulation caused by occlusive and stenosed processes in the extracranial regions of intra carotis has proved that the trеatment of such patients should be complex and include drug trеatment supplemented by surgical intervatio with the aim to eliminate thе reasons for circulatory embarrass
