Essay

The mechanism of interaction between landscape mountainous stractures and main-line pipelines is studied. As a result, maps of harmful natural processes and of integrated natural terrain units stability are compiled. On this basis, landscape-ecological approaches towards optimisation of anthropogenically-changed areas within the Carpathians region are worked out.
