Clinico-pathogenetic grounds of transcranial impulse electroaction application, a method of mesodiencephalic electromodulation (MME), in medical rehabilitation ofpatients with initial forms of cerebral blood vessel disorders(CBVD) and ischemic heart disease (IHD) has been studied in this dissertation. New findings about the mechanism of the disease onset and its course have been received on examination of thepatients group under investigation. The effect of MME therapy on the functional state of the nervous, cardiovascular, immune systems, hormone and biochemical homeostasis has been studied in patients with CVBD and IHD for the first time. It has been proved that this method is more effective than placeboeffect and electric sleep. MME therapy is recommended foe application basing upon the received findings, direct or indirect results. The results of the dissertation have contributed to the methods of treatment used in preventoriums, sanatoriums.
