There was estimated the influence of chronic heart failure (CHF) on frequency and clinical course of bleeding from acute gastroduodenal ulcerations and peptic ulcer. We have established the predictors of death and studied heart complications of posthemorrhagic period. The predictors of rebleeding were identified and scoring systems were proposed. The algorithm of management, indications for different types of operations were worked out on the base of comparative estimation of risk of rebleeding and heart operative risk. It was proved, that therapy by Н2-blockers and proton pump inhibitors significantly decreased the risk of rebleeding, including patients with CHF. There were improved Prevention and therapy of heart complications.
