Kulyeshova T. Landscape and compositional peculiarities of the formation of Kyiv's architectural image of the Xth - early XXth centuries.

The thesis is devoted to definition of peculiarities of the formation of artistic integrity of inimitable Kyiv's architectural image in interaction with unique city's landscape. The factors, that are indispensable for comprehending of formula of Kyiv's peculiarity were determinated in the investigation. It is established that these factors was put into nature underlying, into historical stages of the development of city's planning, that created the individual traits of its elements: districts, streets, their crossroads, squares, blocks, detached structures. Significant provisions that systematise a visual perception of the city on the Dnipro River was given. Conclusions and results of the work can be useful when working out the project of reconstruction and development of city's historical part, for those who will be occupied in field of conservation and preservation of unique city's landscape.
