Chan T. Legal status of joint ventures under the legislation of Vietnam

The dissertation is devoted to the problems of legal regulation of activities of joint ventures in Vietnam: the gist and notion of a joint venture are investigated and author's improved version of this notion is proposed, legal status of the joint venture as Vietnam legal person is covered and its specific features and place among other legal Vietnam persons are shown. The author also makes analysis of main stages of development of Vietnam legislation regulating the activities of joint ventures and considers legal norms in force which regulate the creation and activities of joint ventures, shows their shortcomings and contradictions. Great attention is paid to the study of practice of registration and functioning of joint ventures. The research is based on comparative analysis of Vietnam and foreign legislation. The dissertation also contains substantiated conclusions, propositions and recommendations on the perfection of legal regulation of creation and activities of joint ventures in Vietnam.
