Research Object: Wistar rats, brain. Research Aim: to investigate the pathogenic meclianisms of experimental ischemiaof the brain with the determination of effects caused by dymethylstylbestrol and progesteron. Methods and devices: pathophysiological, pharmacological, hystological. statistical, electroencephalograph, stereotaxic device, personal computer. Theoretical results and the novelty: the antiischcmic action of dymethylstylbestrol, the increasing of thalamo- cortical synchronisative system after short- time ischemia along with the increasing of the sensetivity to action of agonists of excitatory aminoacids were established. Practical results and theirs significance: the increasing of antiischemic action of dymethylstylbestrol by alpha-lipoic acid was established and the comparative estimation of this effect was made. Inculcation degree: publications, reports at conferences, congresses, usage in processes of teaching and researches. Effectiveness: the increasing of the level of knowleges of i schemic brain trauma. Sphere of usage:pathophysiology, pharmacology.
