Svydnyts'kyj B. Modern Processes in Chernozem of Southern Irrigative Temperate and Cold Facias

Dissertation is about the issues of soil formation condition changes under the influence of irrigation and water - salt regime changes, physical-chemical and physical characteristics of chernozem of southern irrigative under conditions of temperate eastern European (IZS) and cold western Siberian (AZS) soil-climatic facias. Irrigative chernozem characteristic changes have been studied on AZS (Altai region, Russia), where irrigation had place since 1940 and IZS (Mykolaivska oblast, Ukraine), where irrigation had place since 1957. Trends of modern soil formation processes development on AZS and IZS have been found. Quantitative parameters of hydrological, hydrogeological and microclimatic indexes changes, of secondary salinization, desalinization, physical-chemical and physical characteristics of chernozem as well their productivity have been defined. Regularities of these changes, their speed and terms of guasi-eguilibrium state establishing have been studied. Diagnostic features of secondary _ salini zed chernozem have been investigated and methods of their drawing a map have been worked out.
