Subject matter: Semantical-derivational types of Precarpathian oikonyms (the XII-XXc.c.). Aim: Investigation of derivational and lexical-semantic nature of Precarpathian oikonyms and their formation and development in the XII-XXc.c. Methods: descriptive, historical-comparative, contrastive typological, statistical. Results: The paper is the first complex research on the Precarpathian oikonym system of the XII-XXc.c.
