Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the issues of perfection of non-invasive diagnostics of left ventricular function in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) before and after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). Echocardiographic and Doppler-echocardiographic criteria of pathological process severity with CAD patients are determined wich should promote choosing the groups of patients who need surgical treatment. The necessity of using suggested modification of stress-echocardiography with Dobutamine and Atropine for assessment of severity and localization of myocardial ishemia in CAD patients before CABG was grounded. Diagnostic possibilities of low-dose Dobutamine stress-echocardiography as a method of selection of CAD patients for the CABG and forecasting its results were determined. The main echocardiographic and Doppler-echocardiographic parameters which reflect the dynamics of left ventricular systolic and diastolic function are defined and they should be used during dynamic observation afte r the patients who had CABG on.
