Kurylo L. Territorial organization of Ukrainian grain sector

Research subjects: farms of all categories producing grain. Research objectives: substantiation of main directions of improvement of the territorial organization for grain production in Ukraine in order to improve the branch functioning and export grain fund forming. Methods: balance, comparative analysis, correlation and regression, graphic, index, normative, statistic grouping. Theoretical and practical result: definition of main principles and factors of the territorial organization of grain production in Ukraine; substantiation of main trends for distribution of separate grain crops by natural and economic zones; substantiation of prospect parameters of grain production structure and volumes and grain use; recommendations concerning improvement of grain production distribution in Ukraine; proposals on regulation of economic relations related to grain production and procurement Novelty of introduced: complex research of the territorial organization of grain production under establishment of market conditions in the agro-industrial complex; substantiation of proposals concerning improvement of distribution of main grain crops; development of prospect parameters for grain production in Ukraine. Implementation degree: proposals concerning improvement of the territorial organization for grain production have been used by the Chief Office of Agriculture and Marketing of Crop Production of the Ministry of the Agro-Industrial Complex; they can be used by oblast authorities in order to prepare the program of the agro-industrial complex development till 2010; they have been used by the state and cooperative production association " Ukraine's seeds". Effectiveness: it will promote to increase of grain production and use efficiency. Sphere, sector of implementation: agricultural economics ( grain and seed production) and processing industry (milling and mixed feed production)
