This manuscript represents the results of investigations devoted to study of the prevalence and features of valvular abnormalities in 168 patients with chronic glomerulonefritis ( CGN ) using both transtoracic and transesophageal echocardiography. It is established that the spectrum of valvular lesions in chronic glomerulonephritis is wide and diverse, depending on clinical picture and renal function. The adeguate drug correction decreases the freguency of development and progressing of valvular lesions in chronic glomerulonephritis.
