Tuzkova I. The lyric origin in the Russian prose at the end of the 19th century (on the material of the small epic genres)

The thesis is devoted to the problem of making lyrical narration in the Russian prose at the end of the 19th century. The aim of the investigation is to determine the role of the lyric origin in the genre-style development of the Russian prose at the end of the 19th century.The object of the investigation were V.Garshin's, V.Korolenko's and A.Chekhov's prose works on the basis of which the forms of expression of the author's position are examined, the role of the lyric origin in the intercommunication of realistic and romantic artistic expression is investigated. The theoretical-methodological basis of the investigation are the works of contemporary literary critics devoted to the problems of the development of literary process at the end of the 19th century. The materials of the thesis are used for the preparation of lectures in the history of the Russian literature of the end of the 19th - the beginning of the 20th century,for the working out of special courses and special seminars devoted to the pr oblems of making lyrical narration and the intercommunication of realistic and romantic principles of reflection of the reality.
