The paper presents theoretical and practical information on the complex study of sheep zootecnical and farm characteristics when using the new synthetic biologically active substance (spirocarbon ) and the ways of their possible improvement. For the first time data have been obtained on animals development, depending on the terms of weaning lambs and their keeping with the use of spirocarbon. The optimum doses of the substance in the animals ration have been determined and their wool and meat productivity has been studied. The productivity of young animals weaned at an early age has been comprehensively assessed and the results obtained have been implemented commercially.
