. Research subjects: confectionary sunflower. Research objectives: Study of influence of basic tillage, terms of sowing and plant density on yield and seed mass. Methods: field, laboratory, PC. Theoretical and practical results:Dependence of yield and seed weight of confectionary sunflower varieties from methods of basic soil tillage, terms of sowing and plant density were established. The recommendations for cultivation of confectionary sunflower were released. Novelty of introduced:For the first time for confectionary sunflower varieties in the south of Ukraine the complex influence of basic soil tillage, terms of planting, density of plants was considered in respect of their effects on growth, development, yield, and seed weight, and the rational complex of those varieties cultivation was developed. Implementation degree:The complex of agrotechnical methods for cultivation of varieties of confectionary sunflower was recommended to production. Effectiveness:Complex of agrotechnical techniques permit s to produce seeds up to 2.5-3.0 t/ha with seed weight more then100-120 g and protein content 22-23 %.
