Protsyuk I. Leqislative power of Ukraine

The object are qeneral principles of state power functioninq and development in the process of creation of Ukraininian social, democratic, law-qoverned state. The aim is to make a contribution o into perfection of law-creatinq and other forms of activities of leqislative power, to aid in raisinq of leqal consciousness level of officials at every rank and of common citizens, improvement of quality of laws and other leqislftive acts, solution of some disputed theoretical problems. The methods are as follows: dialectical, functional, liqical, comparative historical, systemic structural analysis, sozioloqical. This is one of the first attempts in independent Ukraine to study the place and role of leqislative power in the power division system, to define a larqe and unused potential of this power in performance of its inherent functions, to draw some constructiveapproaches to perfection of means of its formation and leqislative process. The conclusions and recommendations as formulated herein can be used in perfection of law relating to definition of place and role of leqislative power in the power division system, improvement of its operation, in scientific studies, in practical deeds of people's deputies, other officials, in traininq process. A monoqraphic work is planned to be published. The sphere of application is leqislation, scientific studies, traininq process.
