Essay

Phytochemical studying of the Lotus corniculatus herb has been carried out. From the investigated raw material the structure of 24 individual substenses has been isolated and obtaind: 5 benzoic acids derivatives, 4 coumarins, 13 flavonoles, 1 phospholipid and 1 steroid. Technology of the complex processing of the herb, which includes the consecutive obtaining of the dry extract (code name "Locorin"), which possesses diuretic and anti-inflammatory action and lypophylic extract (code name "Lotus"), which possesses wound-healing activity, has been worked out. Quantitative identifying of flavonols, benzoic acids derivatives, ascorbinic acid, tannins in the herb and carotinoids, chlorophylls, fatty acids in lypophylic extract.
