Coal, coke.Results of the theoretical and experimental researches in the field of the appreciation of the quality of coke as blast raw matirial are defended. The methods of appreciation of the mechanical and physics-chemical properties of coke with registered conditions and behavior of coke in the blast furnace are given and improved. The practical results of the work are examinated on Dnieprovsky Metallurgical Plant and introduced in Institute of the Fuel Materials and Moscow Chemical- Technological Institute.
