Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the philosophical research of mentality as integrative characteristic of culture. The main ways of philosophical research of mental problems are investigated, main traditions of its research in adjacent disciplines are traced which determined its occurrence in philosophy. Role and significance of mentality statements in the myth, religion and science structure is determined. Traditional typology of mentality is considered. The essence of the thesis may be used while teaching social sciences as to college program.
