Drozd O. Duplex - Sonographic Criteria in Identificating Indications and Choosing Methods of Sorgical Treatmen in Chronic Venous Insufficiency, Complicated dy Acute Thrombophlebitis

There were formulated the follouring principles of the surgical treating this pathology. In acute thrombophlebitis against a background of venous diseas and its relaps the process of acute thrombophlebitis itself and the causes of varicose appearance and relaps are eliminated. In acute thrombophlebitis against a background of postthrombopflebitis diseas acute thrombophlebitis is eliminated and the venous revers current from the leg is improved; if it is found impossible to improve the venous revers current - acute thrombophlebitis is eliminated without deterioration of the existing compensatory circulation. Patients medical examination and surgical treatment were carried out urgently. The volum of the surgical intervention depended upon pathologic changes in the venous blood determined by USDAS.
