Essay

The subject of investigation is the skin tissue of experimental animals (rats) and frostbite injured patientes. The main methods are: morphological (lght, electron and biomicroscopy), biophysical (EPR-spectrometry, radiospectrometer "Bruker"), physiological (rheovasography, rheovasograph "RG-4-01"), clinical (USI-doppelerography, "Siemens-2000"). The scientific novelty is that the main reasons of skin cryodamages are crystallization injures and microvascular malfuction causing extracellurar liquid content increasing and spreading of wet necrosis area during 30 days. The results of the work are: local application of polyethyleneoxyde-1500 after cooling results to maximal immobilization of intra- and extracellular liquid, reduces tissue oedema and increases blood circulation in tissue, not affected after freezing. The practical significance is that the usage of polyethyleneoxyde-1500 as a component of ointment "Levomecol" in frostbitten patients, reduces necrectomy, improves wound healing, decreases of tr eatment period.
