Borodych L. Internal and frontier troops in Ukraine in 1917-1941 years (law-historik aspekt)

The objective is the Internal and Frontier Troops as a component of protection and repressive and punitive machinery of State. The aim is to deal with historical and legal aspects of origen, progress and practice of the Internal and Frontier Troops in Ukraine, to make proposals for the further rise of their role and place in the cause of the stabilising state factor, defence of the citizens constitutional rights and freedoms. The methods are the dialectical, the historical, the comparative and legal, the structural and functional, the formal and logical, the sociological, the statistical. In the Ukrainian historical and legal literature the dissertation is the first complex, multigrafical research of the organisation and activities of the Internal and Frontier Troops functioned in Ukraine for a long time (the end of the 19 cent. - 1941). The conclusions and the recomendations formulated in the Dissertation may be taken into account in the work with the further improvement of the normative and legal bas e of the Special Setting Troops activity functioning in Ukraine, in the preparation of the generalize works from the history of the law-enforcement and punitive Organs, at studies. The using sphere is the law-making, the spientific and research activity, the studies.
