Essay

Two ulcer types are allocated: senile and chronic. The features of their clinic, endoscopic and morphological differences are covered. Results of various methods of conservative and kinds of operative treatment of chronic and senile ulcers, frequency and character of postoperative complications, morbidity reasons are analised. It is developed differential algorithm of a choice of surgical tactics in view of a type of the ulcer and weight of accompanying pathology.
