.The thesis is dedicated to the problem of treatment of chronic inflammatory processes of uterus cervix. 3120 patients suffering from chronic inflammatory processes of uterus cervix and 10 practically healthy women were examined. The objective of the research work: to improve the treatment efficacy of patients suffering from chronic inflammatory processes of uterus cervix by complex applications of microwave resonance therapy (MRT) and methyluracil. The following research work methods were used: accumulation of medical history, gynecologic examination, bacteriologic and bacterioscopic examination of vaginal microbiocenosis and cervical canal of the uterus, cytologic investigation of vaginal smears, broadened colposcopy, biochemical, cytochemical and cytoimmunochemical blood tests at the beginning and at the end of treatment procedure.Combined with MRT, the use was made of very high frequency electromagnetic radiation generators of two types (coherent oscillations - G4-142 and "white noise" generators: P orig-1 and Porig-3). Theoretical value of the investigation results resides in the study of the immune system's condition of patients with chronic inflammatory processes of uterus cervix. The secondary immunodeficiency was observed with the given group of patients. The T-helpers link was expecially explicitly damaged. The lymphocytes functional state was also disordered. The paper gives practical recommendations on MRT and methyluracil usage in the treatment of chronic inflammatory processes of uterus cervix. At the same time the treatment of accompanying diseases was conducted, such as: chronic adnexitis, sterility, disorders of menstrual cycle. The novelty of the given research work: For the first time the very high frequency electromagnetic radiation was applied supported by the therapy by non-steroid immunomodulator, i. e. methyluracil in the complex treatment of chronic inflammatory processes of uterus cervix. New convincing arguments concerned with quantitative and functional state of the cell immunity were obtained on examining the patients with the above-said pathology. The results of the fulfilled work made it possible to recommend and introduce the developed method in gynecologic practice of Kyiv city clinical hospital № 2, Sit'ko-MRT hospital in Donetsk.
