Krasnikova T. Pharmacognosy study of Viscum album and development on its basis of pharmacological means

Phytochemical studying of the Viscum album in Ukrainian flora has been carried out. From the investigated raw material the structure of 16 individual substances has been isolated and their structures established: 2 coumarins, 2 terpenoids, 2 benzoic acids, 5 derivatives cinnamic acids, 4 flavonoides, 1 steroid. A quantitative analisis in the contents polysaccharidum-proteins conplexes, chlorophylls, free amynoacid, aggregate polyphenols, benzoic acid, lipid acid as well as microelements in Viscum album of Ukraine has been perfomed. Elaborated have been technicques and contents for a hypotensive, including identification parameters and quantities of basic agents. Specific hypotensive action as well as toxic side-effects have been determined. Dry extract samples of the composition have been obtained.
