Essay

The subject of investigation is abstract-author's sentences in Ukrainian emotive prose. The aim is to reveal the oyntactic status of such sentenses in the system of predicative units. The basic methods of analysis are descriptive, structural-semantic and quantitative. The theoretical and practical significance is in specifying the typological system of the sentence and in the possibillity to use the results achieved in the course of teaching at higher school. The novelty lies in the complex approach to the study of abstract-author's sentensces.
