Lysenko R. Optimization of the surgical treatment of postoperative ventral hernias of large sizes in patients with obesity

The theses presented deals with the problems surgical treatment of postoperative ventral hernias in patients with obesity. Wich concern the study of the problems of ethiopathogenesis, peculiarities of the clinical course of postoperative ventral hernias in patients with obesity and the development on this basis of the most rational tactics of their surgical treatment. Special attention is given to the preoperative preparation, which starts with an out-patient regimen, includes a complex diet, exercises of therapeutic physical culture. The new method of the wound suppuration prevention in patients with obesity is offered. The use of extended operating slits is introduced it providing abdominoplasty. The modified method of ventroplasty with the help of local tissues and the new method of autodermal plasty developed allow in the course of research to strengthen ffectively aponeurosis weak points in the area of the plasty, reduce the load on the main suture. The results of the research are being implemente d into practice.
