Khmel' O. Peculiarities and efficacy of surgical treatment of patients with intrathoracic lymphatic nodes tuberculosis.

The dissertation is devoted to improvement of surgical treatment of patients suffering tuberculosis of intrathoracic lymphatic nodes. There have been studied the factors, influencing the choice of appropriate therapy, results and efficacy of treatment, the rate and character of postoperative complications. There were worked out the criteria for evaluation of risk of pre- and post-operative complications and proposed prophylactic measures. There were also studied the remote results of treatment. In the group of 136 patients there was not registered the exacerbation of tuberculosis as well as early or late relapses. In remote period the general status of 95,7% of patients was satisfactory.
