Component values of the radiation factor at working places in coal mines are detected. Radon levels in the air of coal miners are defined. True irradiation doses of miners with the regard to the radiation factor at the working places and dwelling air radon are calculated. Changes in miners health indices depending on the level of radiation influence are determined. An adequate system of radiation protection measures for coal miners are worked out.
