The dissertation is dedicated to the description of Polissya burial ritual and its nomination. The author introduces the structure of the ritual, clarifies the basic factors and tendencies which form it, and uncovers the basis of its myths and consciousness. The author performs linguistic analysis of Polissya burial ritual as an intact, non-verbal text, which presupposes paying attention to its various units _ verbal, actionable and real. The burial ritual nomination of Polissya dialects description has been made in the wide paralingual context.
