Peculiarities of training of the future teacher in ecology have been studied. The following topics have been covered: conception of forming readiness of students-future teachers in biology and environment protection, content of ecology knowledge while taking course in Biology and techniques of its acquring within the system of stydies in ornithology and pnenomenology. Characteristic features of readness of the future teacher in ekology and system of pedagogical tools, allowing for its formation as well as common laws of the efficient arrangement for this process are highlighted.
