Essay

Drainage constructions and systems operating under conditions of medium filtration deformations have been studied. An approach to the investigation of non-linear filtration in the grain medium and suffosion processes caused by the action of filt forces has been developed. New mathematical mofels of the interaction of the filtration process and the suffosion-colmatage phenomena have been obtained. Methods for the filtration estimate of drainage constructions have been elaborated taking into acco unt deformations in the drained massives. Results of the research have been used in the normative documents to design drainage-irrigation schemes.
